Obviously this is a rough, but Ryan, is this what you were suggesting when we put the actual food + name on top? Going to play with the background more, but I wanted to get this figured out before I move on with other flavors.

most textures I thought of when thinking of food were plates, napkins, placemats, wooden tables.. Patty, if you can think of more that would be more suiting, let me know. I'll be in the lab this week again, so we can figure it out then.

trying to play with the placement of the logos: centering the woman in between the needle and the logo. I figured the needle forces the eye to go to the person, then the logo next to it. Rather than below the hand (where showtime is now) let me know what you think. are finals due this coming week?

Nooka

Oh and for the pills, is this what Megan wants? We are not sure what circle pills she mean.

And I was wandering if this bathroom works for our campaign?

Nooka Ideas from Syanne,Tim and Mei Kim

Here are some more ideas for the Nooka campaign.

For the first one, we were thinking for a bus shelter ad; we could do a women with growing sideburns.

The next one is for the ESPN website with a banner that is selling breast-pump. It plays with the idea that somethings can't fit right with certain things.

The last two are print ads where the women had a lower body of a man where we would photoshop her legs out and replace it with a tan man legs. Vice versa for the man's print ad too.

Diet Snapple

Here are some ideas for the Diet Snapple Campaign.

For the first one, I was thinking of giving target consumers an elastic paper where they can stretch and you can see the bottle of Diet Snapple. Tagline would be "A Slim Drink."

The next one would be product placement of floating apples to show how light Diet Snapple is. I was thinkin maybe it could be floating up on the ceiling too. A tagline wil tell target consumers where to find the drink in the supermarket.

I think it would be funny to put the diet snapples on a fake weighing machine in the supermarket that will show how light the drink is and “low calories”.

Another idea I have is to put a diet snapple in a transparent pill case besides a bunch of diet pills to show them there is another way to help your diet process.

For the next idea, I hope to put a distorted mirror in the shape of a bottle outside a supermarket. When someone walk pass the mirror, they will see a slimmer version of themselves.

This product placement can be put in any stores that sell fresh fruits where we put a bunch of apples that looks slender and slim next to real fruits. We would also place a board above our apples to explain our brand and product.

The next one is a glass where we will have an apple sticker on it. When water is poured into the glass, the apple will be distorted and look slimmer than it was. Another sticker of the product and brand will be place on the glass too.

color copy of our site

Nooka

still needs work btw

Mei Kim/ Jimmy

This is the corrected copy for the hotspot web:

What is a social hotspot?

If you’re here, you’ve already arrived. Meaning, you may have found one of our hotspots. So what is a social hotspot anyway? Well, a long time ago, before the Internet and cell phones, people did this crazy thing called, “hang out.” I know, it sounds far-fetched, but it’s true. People would literally gather in the same spot and talk face-to-face. They would joke and laugh out loud with their mouths and not through a three-letter text.

So in the spirit of our social forefathers, we set out to rediscover some of the old hotspots and mark them like archeological finds. Chances are, you found one, and now, you can have the honor of repeating history, it’s easy; just hang out with your friends, take pictures and post them here for all the future cube enthusiasts to discover. Together we can take our social lives back, and party like its 1985 or something.

Replace the locations like Fisherman’s Wharf, or Kung Fu Taco with The original In N’ Out, Twin Peaks at sunset and North Beach after dark.

To Tim's Groups/ Instructors

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. (I already spoke to my groups) I will be doing Field Training Exercises this weekend at Camp Parks, and the planning phase of that operation is tonight. Bottom line, I will not be able to make to the actual class tonight, but all of my groups have been given the copy to run with for this week, and I will have internet access for the next few hours, so feel free to post anything you may need from me.

I will see you all in class next week!

Nooka

Ryan, thank you for the examples. I'm playing around with some patterns inspired from some of their watches. (the second ones just really random)

ATTN: Taiyo for Nooka

Taiyo, Here are some patterns to think about for your Nooka site. These are the type of patterns and colors I'm talking about. They look clean and modern.

Mei Kim Nooka

I was thinking about your concept, and what I like about it is the juxtoposition of two different ideas, in your case male and female. When I combined that idea with the "I don't give a shit" New York attitude, I came up with a more balanced, and ultimately a more wide spread camopaign idea.
So for the ad with the tampon dispenser near the urinal:
Don't subscribe to titles like "male" or "female."
Nooka— No one style. (The tag plays on the idea that their range in fashion is extensive and at the same time it not for any specific type of person.)
So off that idea, we could also do...
Don't subscribe to titles like "high-fashion" or "low-fashion" (You can show a high-fashion model, being bombarded with paparazzi, and on the corner a normal guy eating a burger.)

Don't subscribe to titles like "late" and "early" (show a group of young adults after a night of partying, passing a group of construction workers going to work on a city street.)

What do you think?

Josie-Patty Larabar

Apple Pie: Want it a la mode? We suggest frozen yogurt.

Banana Cookie: We use a less suggestive peeling.

Cashew Cookie: We use only the best of the bar nuts.

Cherry Pie: The desert, not the stripper.

Chocolate Coconut Chew: Like the candy bar, but more awesome for you.

Cinnamon Roll: Sweet, sticky, and packed with power.

Cocoa Mole: Me quero awsomole

Coconut Cream Pie: It only sounds dirty.

Ginger Snap: We did catch the gingerbread man, and all his little friends.

Key Lime Pie: Just like your aunt’s, it's a little chewy.

Lemon Bar: Without the old person smell.

Peanut Butter Cookie: Mouth smackingly delicious

Peanut Butter and Jelly: We even cut the crusts off for you.

Pecan Pie: Without that weird gelatin topping.

Pistachio: Without all the work of de-shelling.

Tropical Fruit Tart: For those comfortable with their masculinity.

Tag: Grab some energy.

ATTN: JOSIE

Look at these samples for ideas on how to dress up your Busch Gardens campaign. One the 1st 3 ads, look how they treated the copy. On yours, you have to play around with it on top. Also look at the different textures you can work with.

Megan last week suggested we place the CTA with the Showtime logo in order to leave the Dexter logo alone so it is more of a signature and tagline in itself. Let me know what you think.. I feel like it is lacking.. and maybe should be moved up, so it is closer to the headlines. Or add a period or a dash ("-dexter") or something. It just looks weird. Let me know what you think. We are tossing the saran wrap idea, but keeping the BART pole saran wrap idea (approved). And still waiting on Billy for those MUNI pictures before overlaying the syringe idea with that :)

Not too sure how I feel about the typography... haha.

Kamil Sharks

And that's the Sharkeys prints placed around the city.

Kamil Sharks

Ok, so here are the Sharkis.

ATTUNE: Liz, Syanne, Kamil

1. The image is a washing machine door. We would either have it sloshing clothes around to signify your stomach with build up, or we would have it empty to signify how attune helps you stay light and cure build up.

Tag: Release the Pressure.

2. This idea is about protection. Attune will help protect your immune
system.

Tag: Immunity Amped.

3. Fast Lane: This campaign would show why Attune benefits it's users.
Attune will take you out of your slow, weighed down feeling and put you in the fast lane. When you eat attune, it's always fast and the track is clear. These images are super market and freeway placements.

Tag: Express Metabolism.

4. Defense: The first image would be at a super market check out lane, the moving conveying device. The germs and bacteria are being erased by the attune bar. The second one is a web banner where you use the attune bar mouse cursor to erase the bacteria.
