Sharks!

Hi, here are a few ideas for the San Jose Sharks campaign.

The first one is an elavetor campaign where it is a picture of a San Jose Shark player smashing into another player as the lift door closes.

The second one is a drink display in shops with the sliding door. I wanted to put a pug at one side of the door and a hockey goalie at the other side. So when you slide the door, the pug will be on the goalie's hand.

The third one is one of those goccery store conveyor belt. I was thinking of putting a hockey player on one end and the net on the other end. The belt will have moving pugs paste to give a sense of movement.

The fourth one required 2 or three BART ad spaces. You can see that the San Jose Shark smash through the side of two BART ads to reach to the other player.

The last one is a bloodied hockey shirt(not the Sharks) found on the beach and there will be a tagline that says "Shark Attack. Tune in to NHL for the San Jose Sharks."

  1. Nice brainstorming ideas. I still like the elevator idea. Although the sliding door idea is a good one and tie's in with your elevator. The only tricky thing on the sliding door is where will you put it. I mean what kind of product? Ice is not bad since it's for ice hockey.

The conveyor belt is a good concept as well. Maybe it's just stickers. The player, the goalie and the puck. Put the player sticker in the beginning of the belt and the goal net towards the cashier. Then place the puck sticker on the conveyor belt.

This is just an idea. What if every time the puck passes the goal, a siren goes off (you know how the cashiers use it when in need of something). Sort of how the puck goes in the goal and the siren goes off in a real hockey game. Search it on youtube about the siren goal in hockey.

Concentrate on these ideas. Have fun.

  2. Hey (Michele here)
    Pretty cool integration ideas!
Grocery store idea is cool, but I think the sliding glass idea better supports the (primarily male) target.
Perhaps you can put something else in the grocery store in the beer aisle?

Perlick is the company that services the San Jose Sharks stadium.Perlick Serves 53% of the National Hockey League. Check out their products and get a feel for what they look like. Here:

(Ive been to the stadium and it's pretty nice. The food & drink venues have a sophisticated look to them..San Jose is such a weird city. It's like a "wannabe" city because it simply does not have the "cool factor" that LA or Frisco has. Residents have an established type of pride are pretty well off.

Here's a demographic fact sheet for you to check out.
