I would definitely like the tag not to say "signature" as well.

I like "stained" "sealed" and "calling card". I think if you keep at it you'll nail it.
Saying 'signature' in the line really hits the idea home. All your other ideas look like results from the thesaurus for 'signature.' Why not just say it?
ReplyDeletethink signature is the best bet. maybe that's just me, but although it is "spelling it out," it really hits the mark. I feel like murder's mark is so weird.. it just reminds me of Maker's mark. And it's awkward sounding. For the stuff we have though, it just makes sense to say signature, for all the print as well as the guerrilla stuff we have brewing..
