Oasis Billboard

Is that what you had in mind?
I kind of like it without the sky.
I'm going to attach CTA to both of them. The third ad, hopefully will be done tonight, or tomorrow morning.

  1. The only reason why i told you to add the horizon is because from far away, you wouldn't know if that is water or just some sort of texture.

Check your spelling on your tagline.

  3. First it is Cruise-liner. Secondly, I can't get over the impossibility of this board... sorry. The words are literally not attached top anything. What I was suggesting was something more like a bow of the ship coming through the billboard. The letters can create the shape (it is triangular)

I do like the water being the horizon like in the second ad displayed here.

  5. yea, sorry about the spelling mistake, i got it and fixed that already. The letters are not 3D in this poster. The 3D font is printed on a flat surface, because otherwise the reflection on the water wouldn't make sense. They are flat but give the 3D illusion. So, if you think about it, they are all touching and not floating in the sky, although giving the impression like they do. So I think the board is doable. I didn't want to put the ship coming through it, because I did not want to make it like the picture you attached. I was slightly inspired by that exact design, but I didn't want to copy it, besides my idea is: showing giant, dominant font in the reference to the giant, dominant ship.

  6. ... and not showing the ship at all.

  7. Knowing that the font is not actually 3D, but an illusion makes it 100% better in my mind. I totally understand not showing the ship if people can get it from the copy. Nice job.

  8. I like the positioning of the copy on the first board, but without the false horizon. So basically bring the copy down a little on the second board and this is done.

  9. ('The horizon' portion of the copy should be sitting on the horizon..)

  10. yes, you are right. I'll bring it down, that'll make more sense. I'm glad this one is done :)
One more to go. It's hard to find a pic of a square with buildings around it without people and without strong shadows (to make shadows on 3d text adds another day of work). I did one, but the shadows don't work and it looks fake. I'm attaching it now on the blog.
