troblood textures

  1. The backgrounds look good, but the font is killing me! I feel like having the font so simple and basic is taking away from the ads more than it is helping. Can you meet in the middle, pick something that simply compliments your message? Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

  2. I think you need a more stressed font, perhaps condensed or one with more texture to it. Also, you should try and overlay it more by playing with the fill of the text in photoshop ;)

  3. Yeah, it's not working. I know I've told you to try this with sans serif and this background, but it's not communicating right. Go ahead and play with type treatment. Not necessary go serif, but are there fonts you can play around that's not so clean? A little rugged? But not too much.

Look how they set up the logo 'trueblood' can you lay it out in a similar fashion?

  4. Yep, like the others have said, I see the font holding back this campaign from working it's best... I would suggest looking at font that breaks some rules of typography & structure... warped, ripped, and awkwardly placed on its line.
The tone has an "edgy/in your face/Rebelliousness" keep that in mind..

check some of these out to:
