Reduced the opacity of Showtime to 70% to decrease its contrast.
The logo lockup seems to be working better, especially underneath the headline, as he seems to be saying the headline, then "-Dexter" type of thing.

As for the taglines, I know you are getting frustrated with mixed reviews about using "Signature." However, the tags you have come up with so far (not using "Signature") aren't relating to the campaign, which is why they aren't working, and I know that it gets really annoying! Haha, what I am trying to say is that maybe you can work on tags that don't include signature, but hit on the same main idea.
As for the other executions, we got the okay on them, just waiting for the tag to tie it all together.
ALSO, for the headlines, how do you guys feel about the "My x. My x." lines? Mark Edwards said it would create structure for the campaign and give it more of a "together" feel. LIZ, how do you feel about using the word "KILL" rather than victim, because I realized that they aren't necessarily victims. They DESERVE to be killed in Dexter's opinion. In the show itself, he calls them his "kills" Let me know what you think, I think it would also hit upon Shannon's suggestion that he kills them silently and not for fun.
I'm on board with "kill" in stead of "victim." What about "prey"? He's referred to his killing being "the hunt" and the people his "prey" in the show.

ReplyDeleteI definitely like kill instead of victim because victim might sound overdone in three prints, but i feel with kill it would work in all three.
Much better. I'd make the logo lockup slightly bigger and bring it down a bit 1/2 an inch. Also don't make your line all caps, it competing with your logo.
