Here are a few of the Dexter ads I have been working on. What do you think?
Integrated Communications explores the process of creating big ideas that translate across a variety of mediums. Through a series of assignments, students will learn to strategize and execute high-impact campaigns.
I really LOVE your copy ads. Especially the one good crime and the crime and punishment thing. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI really love the headline "You say Crime, I say punishment" I think you can really take that idea further
ReplyDeleteWhat you are doing with the blood slides are awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI so wish I thought of that!
finally. an all copy campaign. very nice start. make sure your art director starts thinking of ideas on how to art direct these.
ReplyDeleteThe blood slides are cool. can you do something with a guerilla on that idea?
And yes play around with the "you say crime, i say punishment" idea. There's something very DEXTER about that.
I just realized, are the blood slides the billboard and bench?
ReplyDeleteIf yes, have your AD re-art direct this. I'm approving this right now. Just work on the copy just a bit more.
Tim,
ReplyDeleteThe blood slides is a very cool idea. The simplicity can almost act as an icon5, mark, or logo.
You thought about what is visually interesting (nor an object not commonly seen) and you connected it to a detail from the show.
You also know your target well.
Using an object that fans find relevant : You have their trust good strategy.
How can we use this in an ongoing campaign. Think :medium.
In a bigger and better than usual way -glass, windows, or mirrors
From the public eye how can we:
1.See the blood appear. (before after)
___+____= activates blood to appear.
2.See a collection growing. (slides added)
3. DNA (show dna in a cool way)
4. Whose blood is this? (The concept of magnifying something can be interesting. a big microscope magnifying a close up of dna)
You also have hit the copy right on!
Dexter’s tone is what makes him special.
Could we drop messages in any these spots?
Dive bars bar naps, straws, mirrors, chairs, raffles,
Grocery store – on the handles of the cart?
ANyways, keep on it
