DEXTER JOSIE JACKIE LIZ BILLY



Okay, so I know you guys said it was too uniform, but then I thought about it and this is the conclusion I came to. Since the idea of this glass is that it is being squished in between glass slides, why not actually do that? So, I did that and pulled this out of one of my images.. It still looks perfectly round, but there are some deformities in the "blood" itself.. So I don't know. I didn't want it to be like "splattered" and raised/3D just because Dexter is so meticulous that I wanted to portray his blood slide habit.. Definitely open to opinions, though. That is just my direction and reasoning behind it.

THESE NEED COPYYYY. They are going to be billboards, on bus shelters, in BART. Will put in environment soon...

Also, note: Not sure why the images are all pixely and fuzzy, perhaps it is because it is in preview mode in InDesign, but they are huge RAW files, so it won't be that noisy.

    I wanted to go for the uncomfortable, sterile feel of a hospital with the bright white lights and lack of color. Also, I wanted to go for a dull, lifeless effect, emphasizing the body nearing death. So, that's why we decided to not use so vibrant colors.

    I'm liking the bus shelter with Taiyo in it. The print is not as interesting as the one with Taiyo. Although the color, lifeless effect is working perfectly. The one on the car is good.

    Make showtime logo and timeslot black.

    The copy needs help. "The killer's signature" is flat. The copy on the print ad needs to shine if you are just showing the signature styles. Have Liz work on this and make it interesting.

    I would stay away from the blood between slides idea you used for the windshield. Not because it is a bad idea, but because it is way too similar to the other Dexter group (Tiayo's)

    Copy for the MUNI shelter, where the chick is getting a needle in the neck could read:

    "Don't be stuck in the dark."
    "New Dexter episodes start... "

    We are doing the blood slide idea because it is one of dexter's signatures. It's nothing like Taiyo's group's idea. I'm the copywriter and the two tags I'm debating between are Morally Stained and Sincerely, Dexter.

    We've run across this conflict already and I am standing by my previous assessment. This idea is completely diff than your groups idea becase you are using it as a design elemnt. We are using it as a concept to one of dexters signature. The thing that is extremely diff than yours is that you are using it in everything where this is only one of our executions. Not the main idea. I understand why you would suggest to do a diff idea though and definitely appreciate it. :)
